This new primer is the first in the refinish industry to utilise high quality PET plastic flakes. These flakes are made from recycled plastic bottles and food packaging, which would otherwise take hundreds of years to decompose in landfill sites.

As well as developing innovative refinish solutions to make the job of the repairer easier, MAXMEYER® brand is always searching for new ways to reduce the environmental footprint of its products. With this latest launch MaxMeyer brand has succeeded on both counts.

Features & Benefits

  • Very smooth film and overspray edge: easy-to-use, high quality finish
  • Quick and easy sanding: saves time, less primer removed
  • Excellent sag resistance: better final appearance and a satisified customer
  • Made from recycled PET plastic flakes: Allows the bodyshop to demonstrate its commitment to environmental sustainability.

Environmentally Friendly. No Compromise on Performance.

With HP Eco-Multigrey primer, repairers no longer have to choose between sustainability and performance.

HP Eco-Multigrey primer offers superb flow characteristics and a consistent smooth film, which helps to make the sanding process incredibly quick and easy, even over larger repairs. Its exceptional resistance to sagging and excellent overspray absorption makes it the ideal primer for bumpers and awkward shaped repairs.

Together, these factors ensure an efficient and easy repair process with a first-rate final finish, ensuring satisfied customers every time. At the same time, HP Eco-Multigrey primer's unique 'green' credentials will help bodyshops to demonstrate their commitment to environmental sustainability.

HP Eco-Multigrey primer is recommended for use under a wide range of MaxMeyer topcoats and can be applied over suitably prepared polyester fillers; over sound, fully cured original paintwork; properly pre-primed bare steel; and adhesion primers.

The new primer can be used as either a high-build or a surfacer, simply by adjusting the quantity of thinner in the mix, and is available in three grey shades and with a dedicated hardener, 5090.
